Chuckies Playzone

Last Friday, it rained all day here. I was on my own with the children and by around 4pm we were all going ever so slightly stir crazy, cabin fever had struck. With the weather showing no signs of abating, we set out for Chuckies in the Doughcloyne...

Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult

*****

Easy to read, page turner of a novel whose main character is Peter, a bullied teenager, who heads into high school one morning armed and kills ten people. I found many of the characters to be cliched and a bit one dimensional. But despite that the...

Dunworley Strand, West Cork

*****

One of the best beaches in the area. At low tide there are loads of rock pools, rocks and a clean sandy beach which disappears at high tide. Clean clear water but unfortunately no life guard nor toilet facilities.

Where to start? We're just back from the weekend away with Saturday and Sunday spent in Legoland Windsor. Despite the really hot weather, the queues, the amount of people there, we all had a brilliant time and really enjoyed it. After two...
